Comstock Wild Horse Museum & Gift Shop Wins 1st Prize for Christmas Decorations

Here is a photo of our humble Wild Horse & Mining Museum and Gift Store in Virginia City, NV, all decorated for the holidays. We are grateful to our Storey County commissioners for allowing us to house our Museum and Gift Shop in Car #13, the retired bullion car from the V & T railroad.

We are very proud of all our participating groups for the work they do which involves feeding, mentoring, care of the sick, orphaned and injured horses, helping to change non horse-friendly legislation, working toward a sanctuary for excess horses here, and much more.

We are especially proud of our director and curator Olivia Fiamengo and congratulate her for winning the “Christmas on the Comstock” first place award for all-over building decorations this year awarded by The Visioneers, a merchant group active in Virginia City.
